Will a zero carb, high-fat diet lead to heart disease?
Why are we infatuated with total cholesterol levels when they have never been shown to accurately predict heart disease? The only two markers that have are high-density lipoprotein (HDL) and the number of triglycerides. The HDL should be high and the triglycerides should be low. The total cholesterol is irrelevant.
